Cabernet Sauvignon

Main grape variety used in making wine in the Médoc region of Bordeaux. This grape gives lots of color. It makes tannic and well-structured wines with a bouquet of violets, blackcurrants and cedar. Fruity wines, yet long to keep in the cellar. This is a late harvest variety.
