Grenache Blanc

This grape variety is a mutation of Grenache Noir. It produces wine high in alcohol but low in acidity. It is like Grenache Noir a really vigorous grape which is resistant to many diseases, and resists through tough climate conditions.

Rich fully bodied white wines they are known to be low in acidity.

Fruity notes such as apple or peach. You can also find mineral notes.

Facts and tips:

  • Often blended with Roussanne, Marsanne, Viognier and Rolle grape varieties.
  • It can be blended up to 10% with red wines of AOC cotes du Rhone.
  • Growing in popularity towards single grape variety wines.
