An indigenous grape only found in Portugal. Used mainly as a blending grape for white Port in the Douro Region and as a base for the Espumante, a sparkling wine produced in Northern part of Portugal.
Synonym(s): Thought to be the Veldelho, but there is no real proof to support this claim.
